Wedding Bands in Cardiff and the Vale
We have played Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan weddings for over 15 years - Hensol Castle, Llanerch Vineyard, the Cardiff Bay hotels and the country houses up on Caerphilly mountain. Cardiff and the Vale sit at the centre of our patch as one of the busiest wedding bands in South Wales.
Premier Cardiff & Vale Wedding Venues
Hensol Castle, Vale of Glamorgan
The venue of Hensol Castle is nothing short of astounding. Steeped in tradition, the building dates back as far as the 15th century with architecture and décor dipped in splendour. Should you decide to book your wedding at this breath-taking venue, you’ll have exclusive access for the duration of your event – becoming King and Queen of your castle for the day!
Hensol’s winding turrets and sweeping staircases are not the only things to make your special day extra special. The warm and friendly staff run your event seamlessly, helping you relax and focus on enjoying your time. The surrounding lakes and Welsh countryside provide idyllic backdrops for your photographs.
Why we love performing here: The venue is perfectly designed for hosting acoustic music during your wedding breakfast, with plenty of room at the far end for any of our band setups. Many a top party night have we seen at Hensol Castle, and we know there will be plenty more to come!

Llanerch Vineyard, Hensol
A few minutes from Hensol Castle, Llanerch Vineyard is a family-run vineyard hotel set in 22 acres of vines. Weddings run in the intimate Calon Lodge or the larger Woodland Marquee, which holds up to 200, with bedrooms and the in-house Roots Restaurant on site so the whole day stays in one place. The marquee has an installed Outline PA with delays down the room, so the sound carries evenly without the band having to push the stage.
Why we love performing here: The rig and the easy-to-read sound limiter make it one of the better-sounding rooms in the Vale - we can keep the dancefloor full at a sensible level all night, and the vineyard setting gives your photographer plenty to work with.

St Donat’s Castle, Llantwit Major
St Donat’s Castle is a Grade-listed medieval castle on the cliffs above St Donat’s Bay, home to UWC Atlantic College. Because the college runs most of the year, weddings only happen between mid-June and mid-August - a short, sought-after window. The evening is in Bradenstoke Hall, a stone room with twenty-foot ceilings and a three-tier raised floor at one end that makes a natural stage, holding 200 guests for the party.
Why we love performing here: the riser lifts the band above the dancefloor for sightlines, and with flowers across the front of the stage it looks the part. We bring our own directional PA, there’s no sound limiter, and it sounds enormous when it’s mixed right.

New House Country Hotel, Thornhill
New House Country Hotel sits up on Thornhill Road on the side of Caerphilly mountain, with the whole of Cardiff and the Bristol Channel laid out below. Weddings here run in the Wyndham Suite or the garden marquee, both built around that view, with the Glass Pergola handling ceremonies. It’s a Grade II-listed Georgian country house with in-house catering and bedrooms on site, so the day starts and finishes in one place.

Cardiff City Centre & Bay Venues
In town we play the Bay hotels - the St Davids on the waterfront and Coed-y-Mwstwr out at Bridgend - as well as the city-centre rooms. We run in-ear monitors and DI the guitar and bass straight to the desk, so there are no amps or wedges cluttering the stage. That keeps the footprint small enough for a boutique function room and the volume sensible for a hotel sound limiter, while still filling a ballroom dancefloor.
The Complete Cardiff Wedding Package
From ceremony music as you walk down the aisle to the last dance of the evening, we cover the whole day:
- Acoustic duets for your ceremony and drinks reception
- Jazz trios for the wedding breakfast
- Full band (5 to 11-piece, keys included) for the evening
- DJ service included between and after the live sets
The evening runs as three live sets - a chilled first set around 30 minutes that takes in your first dance, then two 50-minute dancefloor sets - with the DJ filling the gaps so the music never stops.
