The Sisterhood is not a tribute act or a novelty booking - it is the same musical operation as The Brotherhood with a different front line, drawn from the same roster of players.
Filmed at the Memo in the same session as the eleven-piece Brotherhood film, this is the ten-piece version. The reason both exist is straightforward: some clients want a female-fronted band, some want male, and plenty want both across a single night. Having them run from one roster means the arrangements, the crew and the production are shared, and you are not co-ordinating two separate companies on a wedding day.
Musically the difference shows up in key choices and in what sits well vocally, which changes more of the setlist than people expect. A song that is a certainty for one band can be awkward for the other, so the two setlists have drifted apart over the years rather than being transpositions of each other.
