Live at Celtic Manor

The Brotherhood have been playing Celtic Manor for over a decade, which makes it the room we know better than any other. It is fifteen minutes from where the band is based in Newport, and over the years it has meant golf club Christmas balls, black tie corporate nights, weddings in the Chairman’s Marquee and quieter trio sets in the bar.

The footage here spans that. Some of it is early and rough - a phone at the side of the stage during a members’ Christmas party in 2014 - and some is properly shot. What it shows between them is how differently the same band has to work depending on which part of the resort you are in. A ballroom with a thousand people in it and a corner of Merlin’s Bar are not the same gig.

Worth saying plainly: Celtic Manor is a resort with several distinct spaces, and the room decides the band size. We have written that up venue by venue if you are planning something specific.
