A newer series, this one filmed at the Islwyn Inn rather than a kitchen.
The duo is the smallest lineup we run, and it is built for a specific job: ceremonies, drinks receptions, and the parts of the day that want music in the room rather than a dancefloor. Two people, a guitar, and material that works at a volume where guests can hear each other.
Kingston Town suits it well. It is unhurried, warm, and familiar to almost everyone without being a song people feel obliged to sing along to, which matters when you are playing to a room of people holding drinks and catching up.
Most of our wedding bookings that include a duo or trio also include a bigger band for the evening. Same musicians, same point of contact, and generally better value than booking two separate acts.
