A mashup built for the back half of a party, from early 2017.
The premise is simple enough - two artists, songs cut against each other, handled by different vocalists so there is something to watch as well as listen to. It works because both catalogues sit at roughly the same tempo and energy, which is not true of most pairings people suggest to us.
Arrangements like this are the reason we carry more than one lead singer. A single vocalist doing both sides of it is just a medley. Two people trading it becomes a bit of theatre, and by that point in a night people want something to look at.
We build these ourselves rather than buying charts, which means they can be rebuilt around whoever is on a particular booking. Useful when a lineup changes and less useful when someone requests it at short notice.
