The dinner set is the part of a corporate booking nobody asks about and it decides more than people realise. You are playing while several hundred people eat, at a volume where conversation at every table still works, and the job is to make the room feel considered rather than to be noticed. Put Your Records On is close to ideal for it - light, familiar, and it does not demand anything from the listener.

The reason this clip is worth keeping is that it shows the same band that plays the dancefloor sets doing the quiet job earlier in the evening. Most corporate events need both, several hours apart, and booking one act to cover the whole night is simpler and generally cheaper than booking two.

It is a minute of shaky footage from over a decade ago. Treat it as a record of the format rather than a showreel.
