Two Beyonce songs welded together, which is a standard move in our sets and a slightly harder one than it looks.

Crazy In Love opens on a horn line that is one of the most recognisable in modern pop, so it is a very strong way to start a section of a set. Single Ladies is the one that gets a specific part of the room on its feet immediately. Running them back to back means you get both effects without a gap in between for people to sit down.

The joining is the work. The two songs are not in the same key or the same feel, so there is a bridge built to get from one to the other, and the horns carry it. Done properly nobody notices there were ever two songs.

This is showband material - it needs horns and more than one vocalist to land, so it is a booking of eight pieces and up rather than something we would put in a five-piece set.
