Specialising in both songwriting and cover versions, the pair fuses their varied and diverse musical backgrounds into creating music which inspires and entertains. Their most recent project, “The Brotherhood” is, indeed, a product of that inspiration and expertise. The Brotherhood is a fantastic live musical band that is perfect for your event – be it corporate or personal. They are also one of the very best wedding band out there. “There simply isn’t another party band like this!” says Alun Evans, Head of special events at the Celtic Manor Resort “Their rapport and relationship with the audience is unquestionably second to none. The Brotherhood has evolved into a truly fantastic wedding and corporate band which has thrilled and entertained through countless different live events, parties and corporate occasions time and again”
Based in Newport, South Wales, the project has developed from humble guitar & vocal duet beginnings, into a dynamic and energetic live dance floor filling force. Boasting over 15 years experience in party & corporate entertainment, The Brotherhood members have performed extensively at prestigious occasions across the UK and Europe as well as at many high profile celebrity events. Recent touring credits include support for such names as Westlife, Ollie Murs, David Essex, the Eurovision song contest (Yes, Jon represented Cyprus at Eurovision 2011!), Bucks Fizz, and writing credits with British newcomers “Union J”. Matt has had the pleasure of performing at many high profile weddings such as Declan (of Ant & Dec duo fame) and more recently Theo Walcott’s wedding in Italy.
Both Matt and Jon understand that choosing the right entertainment specialists for your occasion is of paramount importance, it can literally revolutionise the party! They, therefore, pride themselves in working closely with each client, to ensure they have the optimum service and package, perfectly suited and tailored for their individual event. “We take the stress out of what can sometimes be a surprisingly stressful process. Our aim is to take care of all aspects of our live entertainment so that people can simply go ahead and enjoy themselves, safe in the knowledge that everything is in good hands!”
