The Brotherhood

This will depend largely on which package (or mixture of packages) you have chosen.

It would be fantastic to simply offer an instant quote however there are many variables which will effect cost and pricing. Factors such as location of venue, Size of your event (dictating the amount of P.A. equipment we need to bring), start and finish times and also set length. Please don’t be afraid to ask us for a personal quote, there’s absolutely no obligation to proceed, and you’d be surprised at just how competitive we really are.

Once a date is agreed, contacts will be sent out to be duly signed and returned. In order to secure a booking, a deposit of £300 is payable within 7 days of your request to proceed. The remainder of the fee is then required 7 days before the event takes place. Receipts are sent for both deposits and final payments.

The Brotherhood always supply background music from the start, until the end of the night. This includes music between sets. We have various playlists ranging from laid back / swing, right through to up-tempo dance & chart. This means that most clients who book us don’t require an extra DJ, but, should you want one, we can certainly put you in touch!

Many clients like to bring their own playlists with them and we are more than happy to play your songs through our P.A.- just remember that granny may not be too fond of that Death Metal band you love!!:-)

We can be very slick when it comes to load in and outs!

The duet version of The Brotherhood can easily be set within 45 mins from arrival to the venue. (Unless your event is on the 30th floor and the lift is broken!) that said; we tend to arrive at least an hour before we are due to play.

The 5- piece party bands can be set within 90 mins, (again depending on access to room)- here we usually arrive around 2 hours before we are due to play.

The 8-piece showband usually requires a set up time of approx. 120 mins.

We are able to arrive earlier in the day if necessary for an additional fee. Please speak to Matt who would be more than happy to help with any load in queries- our aim is always to set with minimum fuss.

We have been known to squeeze into many a “cosy” space during the past! Minimum stage sizes for optimum performances for the quartet would be 12’x 10’ and 7’x5’ for the duet. If you have any worries regarding this please speak to Matt who can advise

This rarely happens but if it does; fear not! Matt and Jon have over 26 years collectively working as professional musicians. During that time they have built a vast network of top flight talented professional entertainers who would step in if need be. The Brotherhood have never turned up to a gig with a man short before, and we certainly don’t plan on doing so in the future!

To find out what a band are really like, there’s certainly no substitute for seeing them perform in a live setting. We at The Brotherhood fully understand this and would welcome anyone interested in booking us to come to one of our gigs. Many of our gigs are private functions, weddings and coporate events but it can usually be arranged for prospective clients to pop in and soak up the atmosphere for a while. The best place to come and see us however, is in ‘Merlin’s Bar’ at the Celtic Manor Resort where we frequently play on Friday or Saturday nights. Please message us and we’ll be more than happy to give you some up and coming dates!

We probably know every inch of the M4, M5, M25 & M6! Motorways seem like old friends to us these days as we have been travelling up and down them for years. We are happy to travel wherever we are needed, and will even travel abroad (We do prefer hot and sunny places if you are thinking of whisking us away!).

The Brotherhood are experts at selecting the best songs for your event, and we have a comprehensive catalogue of songs from which to choose. We take pride in getting the set list spot on for each night and take into account many things such as; type of event & age of people attending. Simply let us know if you’d prefer a more rock/ pop/ swing/ modern or classic feel and we’ll do the rest. You are welcome to make reasonable requests (the entire “Symphony No 40 in G minor” might be stretching us a little!), and at weddings, we are happy to play the all important 1st dance. Beyond that we would ask you to trust our professional judgement as we lived and breathed these events for many years and have seen many happy faces. 🙂
