Cheltenham sits at the eastern end of the circuit The Brotherhood work from Newport - the Severn crossing and up the M5, about an hour and a half. Close enough that we load in through the afternoon and are lined up and quiet long before the drinks reception starts.

The company work here runs to the calendar. Awards dinners and gala nights through the spring, conferences that finish with a party rather than a bar, and company Christmas events from late November onwards, when every function room in Gloucestershire is booked and the good dates go eighteen months out.
Cheltenham Chase Hotel at Brockworth is the room we know best around the town - a conference hotel with function space that takes a full lineup, and the loading access and parking that keep a corporate get-in simple when there is a conference running in the next room.
We scale from a 5-piece to a full lineup with brass depending on the room and the headcount, and bring our own PA, lighting and engineer. In-ear monitors rather than floor wedges, and the guitar and bass go straight to the desk, so nothing on stage makes noise except the PA. In a hotel suite with a limiter on the wall that is what keeps us under the threshold without playing at half power.
Two sixty-minute sets is the usual shape, with DJ playlists either side, though we build the running order around the speeches and the awards so the band goes on when the room is ready to be on its feet.

It moves with the lineup, the date and the venue. Cheltenham is a little over an hour from Newport, over the Severn and up the M5, and we work it as part of the regular South West circuit rather than as a special trip.

Yes - Cheltenham is the hub for it, and the estates and country-house venues out towards Cirencester and the racecourse side of town sit on the same run.
December books earliest here, so it is worth asking well ahead if you are planning a Christmas party.

The country-house ballrooms and the racecourse rooms carry a full lineup with horns. The smaller town-centre spaces sit better around six or seven, mixed properly rather than played quietly.
We run in-ears and there is no backline on stage, so the footprint is smaller than the headcount implies.
