Cardiff is twenty minutes from our Newport base. We play corporate events across the city most months of the year.

The hotel circuit is the backbone. voco St Davids on the bay, the Parkgate Hotel near the castle, Holland House on Newport Road - we know the function rooms, the AV teams, and how each one paces an evening.

For events wanting something different from a ballroom, DEPOT Cardiff on Curran Road works well. Converted warehouse, festival-style lighting, the kind of energy that suits product launches and tech-company Christmas parties.

We’ve also worked Cardiff Arms Park, Cardiff City Stadium, Sophia Gardens, Cardiff City Hall and the Norwegian Church Arts Centre in Cardiff Bay.

DEPOT Cardiff

Converted warehouse on Curran Road with festival-vibe aesthetics - exposed steel, LED lighting rig, the kind of energy that suits product launches and tech-company Christmas parties. A genuine alternative to traditional hotel ballrooms, with the load-in flexibility and acoustic character clients are looking for when they want something different.

Parkgate Hotel

Elegant Westgate Street location, the grand old Post Office as part of The Celtic Collection. Postmaster Suite handles mid-scale corporate dinners and Christmas parties - we play as a 5 to 8-piece depending on the room configuration, with solo and duo options through the bar and restaurant areas.

voco St Davids

Waterfront hotel in Cardiff Bay. We play the Dylan Thomas Suite, a ground-floor room that seats around 180 for a dinner-dance and comes with its own pre-function area for the arrival drinks. Low ceilings and apartment blocks all around the bay mean we bring a controlled, wedding-scale rig rather than a big corporate PA - loud on the floor, careful with the low end. It suits a tight five-to-seven-piece with keys rather than a full horn section.

Holland House Hotel

The big four-star on Newport Road, ten minutes east of the castle and recently rebranded from Mercure. The Calon Suite is the corporate room - a 450-cover ballroom with its own private entrance, bar and built-in stage, the scale where Cardiff’s larger companies hold their awards dinners and conference galas. The room divides for smaller nights, and there is a second suite, the Caernarfon, for functions of around 140. Dedicated loading doors on the back street run straight into the room, and we usually bring the full PA ourselves.
