The organisers of last night’s staff conference booked the main hall at the ICC Wales, but had a surprise up their sleeve. The auditorium was split in two - conference on one side, and us on the other, hidden away until the big reveal.
The Setup
ICC Wales is a serious venue, and the planners absolutely nailed the production. We’re talking a full lighting rig, an epic PA system, and - we cannot stress this enough - ALL of the glitter balls. Every single one. The room looked incredible before we’d even played a note.
The Big Reveal
The band was kept as a surprise for the team. Once the conference wrapped, the partition came back and there we were - the full 11-piece Brotherhood showband, ready to go. There’s something special about that moment when an audience realises they’re getting a live band and not just a playlist for the evening.
Two Hours of Back-to-Back Bangers
No breaks, no lulls - we played a straight two-hour set of wall-to-wall hits. With 11 of us on stage and that kind of production behind us, the energy in the room was electric from the first song. DJ Sam Tweaks then took over and kept the party going until 2am.
