This Year’s Top Requests
1. “Perfect” - Ed Sheeran
Still the most requested, by a distance. Slow enough that nobody has to know what they are doing.
2. “Thinking Out Loud” - Ed Sheeran
Two Sheerans in the top two. This one moves a little more than “Perfect”, which suits couples who would rather not stand still for four minutes.
3. “All of Me” - John Legend
The piano carries it, so it comes across live about as well as it does on the record.
4. “A Thousand Years” - Christina Perri
Originally from the Twilight soundtrack, and a long way from that now.
5. “Can’t Help Falling in Love” - Elvis Presley
We play it either straight or in a more modern arrangement, depending on what the couple asks for.

Our Tips for Choosing Your Song
- Pick the song that means something to the two of you, not the one that tops this list.
- Slower is easier if neither of you dances. Four minutes is a long time at 120bpm.
- Read the lyrics all the way through. Plenty of wedding standards are about someone leaving.
- Ask us early. We can rework a song into a different style, and we would rather learn it properly than transpose it on the night.
