Through spring 2015 Matt and Jon put together some new combinations of the band, and three singers came in with them - Tay Cousins, Camille Bennett and Bongo Peet.
The first unplugged sessions were recorded in Matt’s kitchen rather than a studio. That is where the Kitchen Sessions started, and the reason a lot of the early videos have a domestic kitchen behind them.
Working with a roster rather than a fixed six people is still how the band runs. It is what lets a booking be a 5-piece or an 11-piece without it being a different band each time.
